Discipline-Specific Speaking and Listening Routine
For this assignment, we were asked to create a discipline-specific speaking and listening routine that supports all learners and encourages equitable participation.
I adapted a kindergarten math routine that includes the lesson context, norms for speaking and listening, the task and activity students will do, and a class reflection to help improve the routine over time.
Discipline-Specific Writing Strategy
This artifact highlights a writing scaffold I designed for a sixth-grade social studies assignment. I developed an anchor chart and a graphic organizer that work together to help students complete the task while supporting all learners.
